Easy download in Safari

Just explored this feature in Safari and thought of sharing it with you all. I was actually looking for this for a long time and i got this working accidentaly.

Remember the older IE for macs. It allows you to download any file you want from the download manager. I can use the previous downloaded entry and edit the file info and start downloading a new one.

Now in Safari this comes very handy. Yes here is the tip to download any file you want and your Downloads Window just works like a Download Manager. Try doing this:

1. Open any download url want.
2. Copy the URL.
3. Open up Downloads window from Window > Downloads
4. Paste the URL in the window. Just do Command + V and zoom you got it there in the downloads window and the download starts, instantly.

IE Tips

Here are a few tips for the Internet Explorer users in Mac:
1. To download a picture, alt+click on the picture to download the picture to your default download folder.
2. To download a picture to your own folder, open the folder in Finder and drag & drop the image from IE to the folder. Thats it! you have downloaded the image.
3. What if you wnat to copy some text from IE to some other application? Just select the text you want to copy and drag & drop on to the other application.
